Welcome and thank you for your interest in our programs. JMU 4 Kids offers a variety of summer camps at 3 locations: The Doane Stuart School in Rensselaer NY, The Academy of the Holy Names in Albany NY, and Saint Gregory's in Loudonville NY. All of our camps operate under a permit from the County Health Dept. and are inspected at least twice during the summer. Each location also has a full time Health Director on duty as well as adults with Red Cross CPR and 1st Aid Training. Our goal is to provide a safe, secure, fun, enriching experience for the kids and a convenient, affordable, reassuring option for their parents.

This summer (‘13) the following programs will be available and the cost for any camp is $180/week (students of AHN, DS, SGS and Mater Christi: $160/week) which includes drop off at 7:30 AM and late day pickup by 5:30 PM.

We will be closed on Thursday, July 4th with that weeks' cost prorated.

All camps are coed and can be used on a week by week basis with no minimum registration requirements, however there are no partial day or week arrangements available except for the week of July 1st. Also there are no multiple child discounts.

The camps held at Holy Names will have the opportunity to swim each afternoon in the Jewish Community Center's indoor pool. We provide swimming instruction for those in need who are attending the Day Camp. If a camper chooses not to swim we will provide an alternate, supervised activity. The camps at Saint Gregory's will use the on-site heated outdoor pool. The camps held at Doane Stuart are not scheduled for swimming at this time except for the last 2 weeks of summer (8/19 - 8/30).

Additionally every Friday we have free pizza for lunch. We supply milk or juice to drink for lunch and we can provide breakfast (egg & cheese sandwich) for $1 and lunch (burgers, hot dogs, toasted cheese, etc.) for $2.

At all 3 locations a concession stand will be open during parts of the day with nominally priced drinks and snacks. At our Day Camps the youngest 2 groups are given mid morning and afternoon snacks with juice.

All transportation will be handled by Durham School Services and drivers are equipped with 2 way radio communication ability. Besides the trip to the pool we also offer complementary, morning only, shuttle bus service between Doane Stuart and Holy Names (6/24 - 8/16 only) for the convenience of families who prefer to drop off at either Doane Stuart or Holy Names but who have campers who attend a program at the other location. There is no late afternoon shuttle bus service between Doane Stuart and Holy Names. Campers need to be picked up at the school where their camp is based.

Finally, refunds are gladly given as long as a request is made prior to the week in question. Other requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.
